Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and connecting electrical components.
- Learn to interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure maximum safety and productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is preferred.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
