Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas, organize tools, and ensure all materials are ready for the job.
- Install conduit, wiring, junction boxes, and electrical components according to blueprints and NEC codes.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, circuit testing, and equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials from company trucks and assist in job site organization.
- Keep accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to obtain the required State of California Electrical Certification (we assist with training).
- No prior electrical experience is required; we value attitude, aptitude, and work ethic.
