Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with local codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Assist in pulling wire, installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements and fractions accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain an Electrician Apprentice license.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- No prior trade experience is necessary; we are looking for trainees.
