Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical components and circuits.
- Ensure all work is in strict compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, effectively and safely.
- Handle materials, including conduit, wire, and cables, with care and precision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement tools.
- Strong desire to learn and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
