Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Support journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Equipment Handling: Properly handle, store, and utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and securing tools.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project status and explaining technical details clearly.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Driver's License: A valid, clean driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Strong basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide the training.
