Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installation layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Install and secure conduit, raceways, and cable trays according to local and national electrical codes.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify faults or hazards and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; technical certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading schematics and calculating measurements.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
