Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, organizing tools, and clearing work areas.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, pulling cable, and terminating connections.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical concepts is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
