Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Install conduits, wiring, and electrical components according to local and national codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating, and material estimation.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure upon completion of apprenticeship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
