Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers on site
- Assist senior electricians in complex installations and repairs
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school certificate in electrical technology preferred
- Valid Georgia electrician apprentice license or ability to obtain immediately
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at heights
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
