Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in residential/commercial installations and repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install and maintain electrical systems including wiring, fixtures, and controls
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and NEC compliance standards
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing of electrical components
- Document work activities and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and reliability
- Willingness to obtain Journeyman license within 2 years
