Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installation under supervision.
- Monitor and manage job-site inventory and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and obtain journeyperson certification.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
