Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, bending conduit, mounting outlets, and installing switches.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (OSHA standards) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper tool storage and waste disposal.
- Document all work performed accurately and report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs.
