Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic tasks such as stripping wire, connecting outlets, mounting fixtures, and testing circuits under supervision.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical details and ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Basic math skills and strong reading comprehension abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and work well in a team environment.
