Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Identify and report electrical hazards, code violations, or system inefficiencies
- Use hand/power tools safely (drills, saws, testers, conduit benders)
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Complete documentation for work orders, inspections, and safety compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior electrical experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
