Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, mounting junction boxes, and pulling wire.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Use electrical testing equipment to verify system functionality.
- Document all work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
