Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts and circuit requirements.
- System Installation: Help install electrical panels, wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly use and maintain a wide range of power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional manner, keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Troubleshooting: Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, familiarity with construction or general labor is a plus.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of math and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to travel to job sites within the Dallas metroplex.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
