Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Install wiring, fixtures, and electrical components according to blueprints and local California Electrical Codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and panels.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper inventory management on job sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (hot/cold, heights, confined spaces).
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain a California Journeyman Electrician license within a set timeframe.
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality.
