Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under the supervision of a certified electrician.
- Ensure all work complies with strict local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper organization of tools and materials.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on electrical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Handle materials and equipment safely, following all lockout/tagout procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- No prior experience required. We are looking for raw talent and a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus but not mandatory.
