Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Handle tools and materials safely, including lifting heavy wires and components when necessary.
- Clean work areas and maintain a professional, organized workspace for the crew.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and reading comprehension skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
