Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and wiring.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduits, outlets, and fixtures according to local and national codes.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Basic math skills and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and safety protocols.
