Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Install wiring, conduits, fixtures, and electrical components according to local codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and troubleshoot minor issues under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
