Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial wiring installations.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and adhere to strict safety regulations.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and basic circuitry.
- Transport materials and equipment to various job locations as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina to work standing, kneeling, or lifting heavy materials for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain Journeyman licensure.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
