Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including wiring, lighting installation, and outlet replacement.
- Ensure all work complies with local California electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper waste disposal.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding job progress and site safety.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn the trade is essential.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints is a plus.
