Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and mounting outlets and switches.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site, including cleaning up tools and materials after use.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; vocational training is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and material requirements.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces if necessary.
