Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical tasks, including pulling wire, terminating connections, and mounting fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, with precision and care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding job progress and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of math and measurements.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
