Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures according to blueprints.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and circuit testing using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy materials.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications as training progresses.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
