Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely for various tasks.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- No experience required – We are looking for apprentices and new entrants to the trade.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
