Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Organize and secure tools and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain required state licenses and certifications.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
