Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to execute electrical plans
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and identify electrical faults
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) and safety standards
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians on complex projects
- Document work completed and maintain accurate service records
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during night shift hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid California electrician trainee license (or willingness to obtain)
