Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical equipment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols (NFPA 70E, OSHA standards)
- Collaborate with journeymen on complex projects and service calls
- Document work orders and maintain equipment logs
- Participate in rotating on-call emergency shifts as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool proficiency (pliers, multimeters, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- No prior electrical experience necessary—training provided!
