Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical faults and malfunctions
- Ensure compliance with safety codes (NEC, OSHA) and company protocols
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
- Document work activities and maintain project records
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License (required for travel between sites)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain electrician certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
