Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Participate in paid on-the-job training programs
- Document work progress and complete required paperwork
- Adhere to all NEC and local building codes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
