Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations of electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Learn and adhere to strict safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC, OSHA)
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting under supervision
- Prepare job sites, organize materials, and maintain clean work environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to develop technical expertise
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various physical conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within 6 months
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn technical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency calls
