Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Follow safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC) on all job sites
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams under supervision
- Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduits, and electrical components
- Perform equipment inspections and basic diagnostic testing
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Commitment to safety and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Metro Detroit
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to pursue continuing education certifications
