Responsibilities
- Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment under supervision
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute projects
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC)
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Assist in maintaining electrical systems for residential and commercial clients
- Document work orders and project progress accurately
- Collaborate with journeyman electricians to ensure quality installations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
- Willingness to complete 4-year apprenticeship program
