Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial installations
- Learn to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform electrical safety inspections and troubleshooting
- Install and maintain wiring, lighting systems, and circuit breakers
- Adhere to all NEC codes and safety protocols
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and on-the-job training modules
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
