Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Perform basic circuit testing, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Install conduit, wiring, and electrical fixtures in residential/commercial settings
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool usage
- Document work progress and maintain service records
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required - we train from the ground up!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain Missouri Electrician Apprentice License
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Kansas Metro
