Responsibilities
- Install and maintain residential/commercial electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics
- Operate power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical malfunctions
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Document work progress and maintain organized records
- Participate in ongoing skills development workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to complete 4-year apprenticeship program
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Reliable transportation to job sites across metro Kansas City
- No felonies or theft-related convictions
