Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Safely operate hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment
- Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduits, switches, and outlets
- Adhere to all OSHA and NEC safety standards and protocols
- Document work performed and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we provide full training!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte/Virginia
- Willingness to obtain required state electrical certifications
