Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing wiring, fixtures, and control systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical specifications
- Perform safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70E standards
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues and malfunctions
- Install and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in safety training and skill development workshops
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for load calculations and measurements
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (Journeyman prep included)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
