Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with various residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs under supervision.
- Material Handling: Accurately measure, cut, and thread conduit; pull wire and cable through conduits and raceways.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients to explain project status and answer basic questions regarding the work being performed.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in testing electrical systems to ensure they function correctly and meet code requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (inside/outside).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required for travel to job sites.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, but not required as we provide the professional-grade equipment.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
