Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial properties under supervision
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for accurate circuit layouts
- Conduct safety inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Assist with wiring, conduit installation, and fixture replacements
- Adhere to NEC codes and OSHA safety regulations
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic hand tool proficiency (screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Virginia Beach
- Willingness to obtain Virginia electrician license within 6 months
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided!
