Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare surfaces and install wiring, conduit, and electrical boxes according to blueprints.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters, voltage testers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
- Load and unload materials and tools as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of math (fractions, measurements) is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Work Authorization in the United States.
