Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize job sites, including laying out conduit, pulling wire, and mounting electrical boxes.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as termination, splicing, and mounting devices to code.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E) and safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics is a plus.
- Must be willing to obtain required state certifications (we offer guidance).
