Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Safely install wiring, conduits, and electrical components under supervision
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot basic electrical issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC standards)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete training modules and skill assessments as assigned
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Metro Detroit
- Willingness to obtain required certifications during employment
