Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safely handle tools and equipment including wire strippers, conduit benders, and voltage testers
- Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and code violations
- Install and troubleshoot lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte
