- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and fixture mounting under supervision
- Conduct preliminary inspections and electrical safety checks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and tool inventory
- Follow all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety protocols
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
- Participate in ongoing skills training and safety workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to obtain North Carolina electrical trainee license
