Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local building codes
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical components
- Assist senior electricians with panel upgrades, wiring, and fixture installations
- Document work orders and maintain detailed service records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and concepts
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain required Texas electrician licenses
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train)
