Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and wire strippers, to complete job tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience necessary; we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to obtain required certifications (e.g., OSHA 10) within the first 90 days of employment.
