Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to understand project requirements
- Install wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures per safety codes
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on electrical components
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
- Document work progress and maintain organized project records
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior electrical experience required—training provided!
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Willingness to obtain Florida electrician license within 12 months
